George dropping prints!

We had a busy Art Club at The George this week in which everyone had an introduction to lino carving and printing. It was fascinating to see the different styles which emerged as the session progressed; from striking textured marks to delicate sgraffito to imply subtle differences in light- I was impressed!

Every month, we start a new project with changing materials and processes, so that everyone gets a taste of everything and if one month you find that the drawing task isn’t for you, you aways have the following month to find your preferred medium. There is no expectation to attend every month and you can slot in and out as it suits your diary.

If there are any budding printers who missed the lino printing art club at The George I will be running a second session on Thursday 24th October which will be a repeat of this one and I still have a few spaces remaining. Just email me to book!
